About Copa Airlines (CM) Flights –

Copa Airlines is Panama's flag carrier. Founded in 1947, the airline started its operation with flights to three cities in Panama; It is a member of the world’s largest global airline alliance, Star Alliance. It has a fleet of 82 aircraft and flies to 333 destinations in 31 countries in North America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. Copa Airlines has codeshare agreements with 15 major international airlines, including Emirates, United Airlines, KLM, Lufthansa, Air France, etc.

Copa Airlines Service Class -

Business Cabin:

You can enjoy exclusive benefits and comforts in business class seats on Copa Airlines. The airline offers special check-in counters, boarding gates, and priority baggage handling to its business class passengers. The seats in this class are private and spacious, with 10/12, 12-, and 16-inch pitch. On international flights, they provide fresh and hot meals with great wines and liquors to enjoy during your flights.

As a business class passenger on Copa Airlines, you can access all Copa Club and Star Alliance VIP lounges worldwide. For long-distance flights, the airline provides a courtesy kit that contains toiletry items, hot towels, and bottled water for all business class passengers. Depending on the duration of the international flights, it also provides pillows and blankets for the passengers.

Main Cabin:

This cabin is available on all aircraft. The airline’s newly introduced Boeing 737-800s feature an adjustable headrest with a personal AVOD system on a 5-inch touch screen in economy class seats, though older 737-800s provide AVOD on flip-down screens above the seats. The economy class seats are also equipped with a radio antenna, which lets the passengers enjoy a wide array of songs and instrumentals from twelve channels.

Fresh and hot meals with complimentary drinks are provided on all long and medium-haul international flights, while passengers get food and snacks on some domestic and short-haul international flights. As an economy class passenger, you can enjoy complimentary alcoholic drinks on all flights.

Copa Airlines' Baggage Policy -

Checked baggage Allowance for International Flights :

For business class passengers, the checked baggage allowance is 2 bags of 32 kg each, while you need to pay $175 for each extra bag for international flights. The maximum dimension of the checked bag must not exceed 62 linear inches. For economy class full fare, there are 2 baggage allowances of 23 kg each, while the charge is $175 for each extra bag. For economy class promotional and classic fare, there is a 23kg baggage allowance; the airlines charge $40 for the second bag and $175 for each onward bag.

Checked baggage Allowance for Domestic Flights:

For business class passengers, the baggage allowance is 2 bags of 23 kg each, while the charge for each extra bag is $40. The maximum dimension of the bag must not exceed 62 linear inches. For economy class passengers one baggage allowance of 23 kg, while you need to pay $40 for each extra bag.

Carry-on baggage Allowance:

You are allowed to take one carry-on bag and one personal item, which can include a purse, a backpack, a briefcase, a laptop bag, etc. The dimension of a carry-on bag must not exceed 46 linear inches or 118 cm. The weight allowance for the carry-on bag is 10 kg or 22 lbs across all classes. The personal item must not exceed 36 linear inches or 90 cm.

Exception:

In addition to your carry-on bag and one personal item, you can also bring one of the below-mentioned items on board:

• A jacket or coat
• A child seat, a compact folding stroller, or a diaper bag for an infant up to 23 months old.
• Assistive devices like a walker, a walking cane, crutches, a wheelchair with batteries, or a portable respirator
• A wedding dresses

Copa Airlines Check-in Procedure -

Web Check-in:

Copa Airlines web check-in opens 24 hours before the flight departure time and closes 1 hour before the departure. For web check-in, you need to access the airline’s official website. For bag check-in, you need to arrive at the airport check-in counter at least 90 minutes before the departure of the flight. You can select your preferred seat during web check-in, but this is subject to the airline's seating policy. Once the check-in is complete, you can print your boarding pass or send it to your email.

Mobile Check-in:

To check in, use copa.com, android, or the iOS/iPhone mobile app on your mobile device. You can enjoy the same benefits as web check-in on your mobile phone. Once the check-in is done, you can save or email the boarding pass from your mobile phone.

Airport Check-in Counters:

Apart from online check-in, you can also check in at the airport desk with an airline agent. In the case of international flights, passengers need to arrive at the airport at least two hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight and for domestic flights, passengers need to arrive one hour before the flight departure time.
